So You Have Wrecked Your Motorcycle… Now What?

 

Step 1: Phone SGI @ 1-800-667-8710 to set up a claim with SGI

 

Step 2: Take your motorcycle to SGI and have a damage estimate made up to bring to the dealership.

 

Step 3: Make an appointment with Brad in service @ 306-934-2750 to have our service department look over the bike, prepare a damage estimate and book the motorcycle in for repairs.   

 

What Is The Repair Process?

 

The Damage repair process is a lengthy one. All of the damaged parts are assessed and replacement parts are ordered directly from Harley-Davidson, unless you have aftermarket parts installed (in which case we will obtain these parts from the appropriate manufacturer). Depending on the model, color and year of your motorcycle, and weather any painted parts need replacement (If painted parts need to be ordered it can take up to ten weeks to arrive from the factory). Once the estimate is completed, the insurance company sends out an adjuster to verify damages and approve repairs. Once repairs have been approved and all parts needed to repair the motorcycle have arrived we start to repair the motorcycle.

 

All these steps take time and we work through our SGI claims as quickly as possible.
